It uses techniques like treats, calming pheromones, and gentle handling to create a positive and relaxed environment for your pets. This approach ensures that pets feel safe and comfortable, promoting their overall well-being and happiness.

  • Yes, we are equipped to administer any special medications or injections your pet may require during our service. With two years of experience working as a veterinary assistant, we are highly skilled and comfortable with administering various medications, including subcutaneous injections, topical, oral medications, and any other specific needs your pets may require.

  • Please start by filling out my Contact Us Form or by going to Request An Appointment under the Contact Us section. This will allow us to communicate the services you need, the dates required, and arrange a free meet and greet in your home. Meet and greets give me the opportunity to meet you and your pets, learn about your routine, and gather all the necessary details before beginning any services.

  • Paws & Claws services Hamilton County and surrounding counties. (Fishers, Noblesville, Cicero, Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville, McCordsville, etc.).

  • We cater to a wide range of pets, including dogs of all sizes, cats, and small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, hedgehogs, and more. Additionally, we also offer care for reptiles such as geckos, chameleons, and snakes, as well as aquatic pets like fish and aquatic turtles.   • Yes, the sitter you meet will be the same sitter who will be in your home. Currently, Paws and Claws is a one-person operation. You will be working directly with me, Abi, throughout the entire process. This ensures a consistent and personalized level of care for your pets.

  • Families are encouraged to contact us as soon as they become aware of a cancellation. You can reach us through the Contact Us page on our website, social media platforms, email, or by texting your sitter directly.

    In the event of a cancellation, we require at least 72 hours' notice prior to the start of services. Cancellations made outside of this window will not incur any charges.

    For cancellations made within 72 hours of the service start date, the following policies apply:

    • If a 25% deposit was requested for your pet’s service, it will be non-refundable.

    • Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice will require 50% payment of the service total. This policy accounts for the reserved time on our schedule that could have been offered to another client.

    We understand that emergencies happen, and we are happy to assess special circumstances. In such cases, fees may be waived at our discretion.

  • Paws & Claws does not offer boarding at this time but may add it to the service list in the future. We are currently only offer caring for your pet in the comfort of their own home. If you need assistance in finding home-based boarding facilities in the area, feel free to reach out, and we can provide some in the sitter’s home boarding information based on your location.

  • For service requests made less than 24 hours in advance, there is an additional $10 fee. This helps accommodate last-minute scheduling adjustments while ensuring we can still provide the highest level of care for your pets.For drop-in visits or walks, we kindly request a notice period of at least 2-5 days in advance. While we strive to accommodate requests whenever possible, availability may vary depending on my schedule.

    For overnight stays, we kindly request a notice period of at least 2-4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred dates. Booking in advance helps to minimize any potential scheduling conflicts and allows for more flexibility in accommodating your specific needs and preferences.
